End of week one on The 5 Bite Diet, and the Results are...WOW!!!

Who knew you could eat anything you want and lose weight. I'm in heaven! It's all about resetting your HUNGERSTAT!

So I'm am beyond excited. This week I dropped a whopping 5.6 lbs! I have to tell you too that it wasn't too hard either! I decided that I was going to do this thing, and the results were staggering. In his book Why Weight Around, Dr Alwin Lewis talks about when we prolong weight loss it can really be discouraging when we are hardly losing a thing. The reward of weight loss keeps us going when we actually see results!

Here is what my week looked like!


Monday Starting point 0.0 lbs lost

Tuesday Day 1 0.4lbs lost Total lost 0.4 lbs

Wednesday Day 2 1.2 lbs lost Total lost 1.6lbs

Thursday Day 3 1.2 lbs lost Total lost 2.8 lbs

Friday Day 4 1.0 lbs lost Total lost 3.8 lbs

Saturday Day 5 0.2 lbs lost Total lost 4.0 lbs

Sunday Day 6 1.8 lbs lost Total lost 5.8 lbs

Monday Day 7 0.2 lbs gained Total lost 5.6 lbs

Now I realize that not all the weight is solid fat, but obviously a lot of water weight, but my stomach is already starting to feel the difference.

For the most part I held to Dr Lewis suggestions pretty strictly. My only concessions were coffee with cream and sugar, and I did have a few glasses of wine over the weekend. Overall, I’m feeling pretty darn good, and my husband is also shocked at how quickly my body has been changing!

I haven't been able to pull a particular white sundress over my thighs for a year! Last night, I could actually do it. Yes, it was a little tight, but it actually over my butt, which made my jar drop, and I could do the zipper up!

Something that I started using on a more regular basis was a product called natural calm. This is a magnesium powder that you add to water. This really helped keep things moving if you know what I mean, and it also has the great benefit of relieving stress as well as helping you get a good night’s sleep.

I had read on a blog where another person was counting bites, and they used this product to stop from getting "backed up." I already had some Natural Calm magnesium, so I added it to my regime. I personally use the one below, which I buy from Amazon. I prefer the natural flavor, and take it in the evening to get me relaxed and ready for bed.

I'm sure week two might not have quite such dramatic results, simply because I know that we do tend to lose water weight a lot during the first week, but I will keep you posted! All the best!
